The 15W40 is a SEMI-SYNTHETIC HEAVY DUTY DIESEL MOTOR OILS with ANTI-FRICTION TREATMENT formulated with PAO synthetic and premium quality mineral base oils. It provides superior lubricity which means less wear caused by friction and maximum engine protection at extreme temperatures.

The 15W40 provides maximum protection against viscosity and thermal breakdown and superior protection against oxidation, rust and corrosion therefore allowing for a cleaner running engine. It also provides for easier cold starts with pour points of -42°C.

The 15W40 motor oil meets and exceeds the following standards : API CJ-4/SM, CI-4 Plus, CI-4/SL, CH-4, CG-4, CF-4/SJ, Mack™ EO-O Premium Plus, Cummins™ CES 20081, Caterpillar™ ECF-3, ECF-2 et ECF-1a, Volvo™ VDS-4, Detroit Diesel™ DDC 93K218, Daimler™ MB-Approval 228.3 and 228.31, ACEA E7-04 (2004), Renault™ RVI RLD-3 , MTU Type 2 and MAN 3275. They are approved for diesel manufactured before 2007 and gasoline engines.
