The 5W40 is a SYNTHETIC HEAVY DUTY MOTOR OIL with ANTI-FRICTION TREATMENT formulated by using premium quality PAO synthetic base oils. It offers superior lubricity which means less wear caused by friction and maximum engine protection at extreme temperatures.

The 5W40 provides maximum protection against viscosity and thermal breakdown, superior protection against oxidation, rust and corrosion and improved engine cleanliness. It also provides for easier cold starts with pour points of -48°C.

The 5W40 motor oil meets and exceeds the following standards: API CJ-4/SM, CI-4 Plus, CI-4/SL, CH-4, CG-4, CF-4/SJ , Cummins CES 20081, Caterpillar ECF-3, EFC-2, EFC-1a, Mack EO-O Premium Plus, Detroit Diesel DDC 93K218, Volvo VDS-4 and Renault Truck RLD-3. They are approved for diesel manufactured before 2007 and gasoline engines.
